My Goal As A Writer

Picture
My ultimate goal as a writer is to create a character that the reader will fall in love with.  The reader will be sad when the character is sad.  The reader will get angry when the character is betrayed by a friend.  The reader will cringe and feel his/her pain when the character gets hurt.

My goal as a writer is to write something that older teen population can enjoy and get a thrill out of.  I want the reader to be on the edge of their seat after a chapter, wondering what will happen next.  I want the reader to connect with the story and feel the mood and tone in my writing.

I want to accomplish these goals and the only way I can do that is by your feedback.

In MOTH:
I believe that the likable character in MOTH is Denzel, as well as Lucas.  Denzel is likable because he was "gentle" with Roslyn.  Denzel doesn't show it often, in fact he hardly ever shows it, but he has a soft side.  Lucas is likable because he is a "bad boy" and he is strong because of Mercy.  He can be stubborn and hard-headed though.
